[Premiere] Kylie – I Was Gonna Cancel (The Presets remix)

“I Was Gonna Cancel” (written and produced by Pharrell) is the 2nd single to be taken from Kylie’s brand new album “Kiss Me Once” and the single will be released on May 12th.

Australian duo The Presets flips the original into dance pop heaven aided by spaced out synth sounds and a steady beat.

“We have always had the utmost respect for Kylie as a pop star and an Australian Icon. After we DJed for her recently in Sydney she asked us to remix “I Was Gonna a Cancel”. Saying yes was a no brainer.”

video premiere: Ejecta – Eleanor Lye (NSFW)

Ejecta‘s twinkling, heartbreaking “Eleanor Lye“, taken from one of the best debuts of last year, gets a rather intense and beautiful video, in which we witness the stark, emotional (re)birth of our fearless heroine. Directed by the always wonderful Allie Avital Tsypin of creative collective BANGS:

(oh probably NSFW, but don’t let that stop you)

[Premiere] Ambassadeurs – Ardour (video)

Ambassadeurs (aka Mark Dobson) is a British producer that focuses on bass heavy productions and turning sounds into samples.

He begins 2014 with the free download “Rain” which is a precursor to the release of his debut album later this year. And we here at Discobelle can premiere the video for the exquisite track “Ardour”.

[Premiere] Ronika – Shell Shocked (Drop Out Orchestra remix)

Ronika is a British artist hailing from Nottingham, she has drawn comparisons with early Madonna & Tom Tom Club (and she’s already received praise from Red Bull Music Academy to Nile Rodgers). Her debut album “Selectadiscs” is due to be released June 2.

Swedish duo Drop Out Orchestra shines with their remix of her track “Shell Shocked” that’s pleasant, shimmering disco at its finest. Looking at a busy 2014, check out their upcoming collaboration with Nancy Whang and also an upcoming original vocal track signed to Peppermint Jam.

Stoney Roads Premiere: Roberto Clementi – BYP [Soma]

Stoney Roads Premiere - Roberto Clementi - BYP

Having previously released music on labels like Steadfast, Unfoundsound, Monique Musique, Distric Raw, Undercut, Stolen Moments, Manual Music, Kompass Musik, Suara, Greel Pound, Sk Supreme and more, Italian producer Roberto Clementi is about to have his ‘Marble’ EP put out on regular Scottish home Soma Records, after the imprint released Harvey McKay’s ridiculously great ‘Foreshadow‘ EP earlier this month. Being an establishment synonymously releasing the finest in raw, underground techno, track number two off Clementi’s forthcoming ‘Marble’ is just that – an unrelenting, stripped back, almost Marcel Dettmann-esque piece of pulsing techno minimalism, and we’re stoked to have the first listen here at Stoney Roads. The EP will be out on Monday before he releases his debut record in May, but before that you can stream the analog-influenced sound of ‘BYP’ below. This is a serious piece of electronic music, not produced for the faint-hearted and will most likely be heard between the hours of 7-10am at German’s infamously raw Berghain. Huge sounds.

[Premiere] Steve Huerta – Off The Plate EP

Los Angeles based house producer, Steve Huerta, unleashes a fresh EP for the Newington label. With only 2 previous releases featuring tracks from the likes of PBR Streetgang, Ejeca and Tom Flynn, it’s safe to say the Newington has their finger on the pulse.

Enter, Steve Huerta. This dudes production’s are so fresh and so clean, it hurts! Yet, in the immortal words of one John Cougar Mellencamp, “hurt’s so good!” The ‘Off The Plate EP’ showcases three original cuts of slick, stripped back stompers. Syncopated chords, smooth sub bass and clicky-clacky percussions permeate each tune with an overwhelming and warming glow of euphoria.

The kind folks over at Newington shot over the three original tracks for premiere, hear em first below:
